Hello and Welcome!

The species fact sheets provide info on classification, synonyms, shell and anatomical features, distribution, habitat and conservation status (following New Zealand Threat Classification System). These will be updated with new info when it becomes available. Most of the NZ land snails are minute, ranging from one to several millimeters in shell diameter and nearly all of them are endemic to NZ.
